3 Tips To Find Positivity When You’re Feeling Stuck

3 Tips To Find Positivity When You’re Feeling Stuck

We all feel stuck sometimes in our lives. When we feel stuck, we start to think. On the hand taking a moment for yourself to think about why you’re feeling stuck is a good idea, however on the other hand sometimes this can lead to overthinking.

We all know what overthinking does: it reinforces any negative feelings that we’re currently experiencing at that moment. So how can we lift our moods and get back on the right track again?

Below are three tips to help you find positivity again

1. Start to appreciate where you are right now

Often times we get frustrated, because we think too much of what we want to happen and at the same time we look back at the past with regrets. Because of these conflicting emotions, you’ll start to feel numb. You get the feeling like you just ‘don’t know it anymore’.

The best way to prevent this from happening is to focus on the present moment. You can’t change anything about the past and the future hasn’t even happened yet.

When you reflect back on all the things that you’ve already achieved, not only will it uplift your mood, but it’ll also raise your confidence in yourself to be capable enough to deal with whatever life throws’ at you!

Keep in mind, the best days of your life haven’t even happened yet.

2. Find joy in the little things

Forget the bigger picture. You don’t always have to think about the bigger picture.

Instead focus for once on the silly things in life that make you want to laugh and that you otherwise would take for granted.

For example, watch a horrible comedy movie that makes you laugh just because it’s so awful to watch.

Or go to some place quiet and scream anything that comes up in your mind… It could be anything!

You’ll start to realize that life isn’t that bad and that it’s just a bad day and that even on a bad day, you’re still able to laugh.

3. Rearrange structure in your life

It could be that you’re feeling stuck, because you feel like you haven’t made progress in any aspect of your life.

What really helps to solve a situation like this is creating a certain ‘plan of attack’ for yourself. In this ‘plan of attack’ you write down your goals, your sub-goals and how you’re going to do achieve your goals.

When you can literally track down your progress you’ll start to feel and be more productive.

In sum, you should remember that feeling stuck is a temporary state. The quicker you deal with it, the faster it goes away.

So don’t let your emotions fool you, because you are the one that’s in charge of your emotions. Happiness is not ‘out there’, it’s in you!
